Past Event - November 2025 - Pride Picnic

Event Success! - What happened?

On Thursday 20 November, 13 young people joined us in Chiltern for our PRIDE picnic. Artists Nat Ord and Lisa Bishop kept everyone busy with wooden spoon carving and creating artwork of our ‘Inner self’ to take home. The beautiful relaxed setting of Lake Anderson, delicious salads and snacks, and sunny spring time weather all came together to create the perfect picnic evening!

LGBTQIA+ young people and Allies had the opportunity to come together for an afternoon of chill vibes, connection and creativity. 100% of participants said they had fun, but most importantly said that they felt comfortable attending because “it felt like a very supportive environment” and a “welcoming group”.

Keep an eye out for more PRIDE events in 2026.
