Planning for our Future

We've developed a number of plans and strategies that will help us achieve both our Community and Council Plan Visions for the Shire over the next decade.

Vision, Purpose and Guiding Principles

Our organisation's Vision, Purpose and Guiding Principles describe how we will do our job, what we stand for and what guides the way we operate and deliver our services.

Community Vision

Our Community Vision has an outlook of at least 10 years and
describes our community’s aspirations for the future of the Shire

Council Plan 2021-2025

The Council Plan sets out the key priorities for Council to focus on over the four years of its term and guides decision making and prioritisation through the annual budget process.

Advocacy Action Plan

Our Advocacy Action Plan provides a guide to address some issues that are beyond the capacity of Indigo Shire Council, working alone, to find solutions for.

Plans, Strategies and Master Plans

We have a significant number of plans, strategies and master plans that detail our priority activities and how they will be achieved.

Indigo Shire Council acknowledges the original custodians of these lands. The people of the rivers and the hills have walked these lands for thousands of years as well as today, and we pay respect to the elders of the past and present.
