About the Hub

The Chiltern Community Hub opened in July 2023, addressing a key priority identified in the 2016 Chiltern Placemaking Plan to create a central community gathering space.

The $4.13M facility was funded through a $2.5M Victorian Government grant, $1.1M Federal Government funding, and a $530,000 Council contribution.

The Hub consolidates services that were previously located across different sites, making it easier for residents to access what they need while creating opportunities for community connection.
