Due to staff shortages within our Building Department, there may be delays in the processing of some building documentation and approval of permits. We will endeavor to maintain service delivery as best we can, and appreciate your patience and understanding.
We’re funding Sport and Life Training sessions for sporting organisations across the Shire through our Youth Mental Health Advocacy Plan.
Sport and Life Training (SALT) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to creating sporting clubs and environments that cater for both the competitive and personal needs of young people and the fully funded workshops can be tailored to suit the individual needs of local clubs.
SALT helps Clubs, Leagues and Associations build the structures, the skills, and the behaviors that lead to a respectful, caring, resilient and courageous community. Through the delivery of quality sessions, SALT is able to facilitate conversations between attendees, players, coaches and other members of the organisation to grow an environment that’s supportive and nurtures understanding.
Interested clubs are encouraged to contact the team at Sport and Life Training directly using the below link and advise they are based in Indigo Shire or alternatively contact our Active Indigo Officer on 1300 365 003 for further information.
