Tourism grant opportunities

There are a number of grant opportunities available to support industry and operators throughout the year from all levels of government - Federal, State and Local.

Whether it be for planning, development, event support or implementation, we can help you stay informed about suitable grants as they become available.

We are pleased to provide industry and operators with a letter of support for projects that align with Council plans and strategies, meet eligibility criteria, and help to boost tourism in Indigo Shire.

Grants

Enabling Tourism Fund 

The Enabling Tourism Fund will invest up to $8M to support regional and rural Victorian tourism infrastructure projects to develop and reach investment-ready status. 

The Victorian Government's Enabling Tourism Fund is now closed.

Tourism Events Grant and Community Events Grant

Applications for our 2024/2025 Tourism Events Grant program will reopen in July 2024.

Victoria's Regional Events Fund

Provides funding for activities that support regional visitation. This is achieved by supporting events that: 
  • Increase economic benefits by driving visitation from outside of the region and the state and extending length of stay and yield
  • Showcase Victoria’s key regional tourism strengths and build Victoria’s reputation as an events destination
  • Develop a strong and sustainable calendar of regional events.

There are four rounds annually and applicants are required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) at least six months prior to the event.

Creative Victoria

Creative Victoria has a number of grant programs that invest in the creative endeavours and professional practice of Victoria's artists and smaller arts companies.
