Our School Holiday Program offers a range of activities for children and young people of all ages. From hands-on creative workshops and storytelling sessions to interactive learning experiences, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Bookings are essential for all programs.
Hip Hop for Kids
Love to move and groove? Join Merge Dance Company for an energetic Hip Hop session.
Hip Hop is a great way to express yourself, build confidence and stay active - all while having fun. Come along to the library and learn some cool moves in a supportive and high-energy environment.

Drumming for Kids
Get ready for big beats and big smiles. In the Groove brings an action-packed session of rhythm, movement and musical fun.
Kids will drum, groove and create together while building confidence, coordination and creativity.

Teen Art Workshops with Valerie Crosse
We are also offering teenage-exclusive workshops with artist and art teacher Valerie Crosse.
Participants will learn how to construct a human figure in proportion using grey lead on paper. This can be developed further using acrylic paint to create a bold and expressive character with an imaginative outfit, or a softer, more refined style if preferred.
Participants will also explore background development using collage, paint and marker pens, incorporating text and layered materials to enhance their artwork.
