Past Event Success!

On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February two young people were taken on a deep dive of all things live sound engineering. Participants discovering a range of equipment and technical skills on Saturday. Followed on Sunday by a musician joining us to get real time, hands on practice.

17 year old Jeremiah who has been managing the sound at the Yackandandah Folk Festival Emerging Artists Stage for the past several years was only too happy to share his knowledge with enthusiasm and patience. Participants have the opportunity to use their new skills by assisting Jeremiah at the festival this year!

Young people, mentoring their peers and real world opportunities is what we are all about and this activity absolutely delivered!
