Live Sound Workshop for young people aged 14-25years.

This two-day beginner sound course, run by Jeremiah Johnston, is designed to give participants a practical introduction to live sound.

The course covers the fundamentals of PA systems, microphones, mixing basics, and safe setup and pack-down procedures. participants will learn how to set up and run sound for small gigs, events, and rehearsals.

Participants will also have the opportunity to shadow experienced sound operators and gain hands-on experience working on the Youth Stage at the Yackandandah Folk Festival on March 21st & 22nd.

Workshop Details

  • A maximum of 10 participants will ensure a supportive session.
  • Lunch will be provided - let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
