About this project

The project involved the refurbishment of two of Indigo Shires historic Fountains – Beechworth's Town Hall Gardens Fountain as well as Chiltern’s Martin Park Fountain.

Works have included cleaning and water-proofing the ponds, rehabilitating the stone work and improving the pump systems.

Why is this project being undertaken?

This project, which is now complete, was undertaken to restore the function and appearance of two much-loved historic fountains.
