As residents of Indigo Shire, you can join daily guided walking tours with local guides from our community for free.
Beechworth’s Historic and Cultural Precinct offers two informative and entertaining 45 minute tours - the Gold Rush Tour, at 10:00am, and the Ned Kelly Tour, at 1:00pm. The tours are suitable for all ages and abilities.
The tours are a great way to get to know the stories behind the historic sites, buildings, people and events that helped shape Beechworth.
Tickets are available at the Beechworth Visitor Information Centre or the Burke Museum. Group bookings are also available and are a great way to show off our beautiful town to visiting family and friends. Ticket prices for non-residents are: $10 adults, $8 concession, and $27 for families.
Please note that dogs are not permitted on either walking tour. Assistance dogs are welcome.
