Creative Industries Series
Amplify has supported many young people access pathways into creative industries.
The program is designed to meet the dynamic needs of today’s young people, empowering them to showcase their talents, build skills and engage in activities that are both enriching and enjoyable.
This year we are trialing a new project, the Creative Industries Series, aiming to provide an opportunity for young people to connect with creative hubs, network with mentors, facilitators and curators, to further develop their creative skills, and understand what it takes to become an emerging artist who can make an income from their creative practice.
This 4-week program will provide an opportunity for young people aged 16 to 25, living in Indigo Shire, to access free creative workshops in which they will create pieces they'll be able to sell or use to showcase their practice.
Workshops will be delivered at Albury's Pumphouse on four consecutive Tuesdays: 10th, 17th and 24th November and 1st December, from 11am to 3pm.
Groups will be limited to 6 participants to allow an intimate and safe learning environment.

- Ceramics 1 with Allie McCleary
- Jewellery / Silversmithing with Lisa McClusky
Tuesday 17 November
- Ceramics 2 with Allie McCleary (only for participants who have done Ceramics 1)
- Sewing / free practice with Pumphouse technicians
Tuesday 24 November
- Ceramics 1 with Nissa Jahnke
- Jewellery / Silversmithing - Lisa McClusky
Tuesday 1 December
- Ceramics 2 with Nissa Jahnke (only for participants who have done Ceramics 1)
- Sewing / free practice with Pumphouse technicians
Registrations are essential. First in, best dressed!
