The Beechworth Town Hall is a significant heritage building, located in the Beechworth Historic Precinct, a National Heritage Place.
Home to Beechworth’s accredited Visitor Information Centre, the Town Hall building has been host to many tenants over the years, including Indigo Shire offices, courthouse, fire station and public hall.
The building boasts original architecture with an impressive, vaulted ceiling and large columns. The original pipe organ also returned home in 2018 after its discovery in a church in North Melbourne.
The grand old hall is another heritage treasure of the Historic Precinct. The Town Hall (located on the ground floor of the building) is available to hire for daytime use between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm.
Please note that the hall is not equipped with heating or air conditioning, and the maximum electrical load available is 16 amps.
Maximum capacity: 130 people standing, 80 people seated.
