Beechworth Urban Landcare and Sustainability Group (BULS) welcomes members of the local community to join in our nature based working bees and educational activities, and non members are also welcome to participate as well.
We conduct volunteer landcare activities in the Beechworth area including tree planting, revegetation of damaged landscapes and riparian zones, weed control and wildlife habitat development. We also conduct community education activities focussing on appreciation of nature in our local and regional areas, and sustainable living and food production. Most activities are conducted on public land but we do support local landholders who are undertaking landcare activities.
