Wahgunyah Recreation Reserve Master Plan

Wahgunyah Recreation Reserve is a valuable open space for the Indigo community.

The site has building infrastructure that is the cornerstone of social connection for sporting and recreation clubs and community organisations. The facilities provide amenity for club competition and training and also a resource for the community for informal recreation and social activities when not in use by sports clubs.

The master plan provides a 10–15 year framework to guide future improvements and investment at the reserve. Developed by Indigo Shire Council in partnership with the Committee of Management, on behalf of the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), it outlines priorities to enhance participation, meet community needs, and ensure the sustainable management of this valued public space.
