The Burke Museum has launched a massive digitisation project to capture and share with the world all 30,000+ items within the collection via the Victorian Collections website.
To kick it off, the museum is bringing to you the Photograph Collection of over 2,500 historic images from within and around Indigo Shire.
Staff will continue to digitise and share this fascinating photograph collection and in addition, start to bring to you the other parts of the museum’s collection including the 19th Century Taxidermy Collection and the Family History Collection in the proceeding months.
