Procurement Policy

Indigo Shire Council is committed to responsible, ethical and transparent procurement that delivers value for money and supports positive outcomes for the community.

Council's Procurement Policy sets out the principles that guide all purchasing and contracting activities.  It ensures procurement is conducted in a way that:

  • Achieves value for money over the lifecycle of goods, services and works.
  • Promotes open, fair and effective competition.
  • Supports sustainable, socially responsible and local procurement outcomes.
  • Manages risk and ensures appropriate probity and accountability.
  • Is consistent with Council's values and strategic objectives.
