Grant funding is an important part of Council’s funding model and Indigo Shire Council increasingly relies on federal and state government grant opportunities to provide infrastructure, services and programs that meet the needs of the Indigo Shire Community.
This policy guides the decision-making and prioritisation for one-off grant opportunities. Recurring grants (such as Roads to Recovery, Library operating grants etc.) are operational in nature and will be handled by relevant staff outside of this policy.
