The Fraud and Corruption Control Policy outlines the expected conduct of employees, volunteers, and contractors of Indigo Shire Council in relation to the prevention, detection and reporting of fraudulent and corrupt activity.
This policy and the supporting Fraud and Corruption Control Plan supports Council with increased knowledge and guidance regarding fraud and corruption issues and indicators of behavior that may lead to fraud and corruption detection. These documents also articulates reporting obligations as well as procedures for dealing with fraudulent and corrupt behavior.
The Policy was approved by Council in February 2023.
