Community Connectors are trained to assist local people to find services and activities that are available to support health and well being.
The Community Connectors service is a collaboration between Indigo Shire Council, Neighbourhood Houses and Visitor Information Centres.
The service is delivered by the volunteers who have a wealth of knowledge for connecting our residents to services and events. The Ageing Well Officer trains the volunteers in the Community Connector service and continues to support them throughout the year by ensuring they are kept up to date with the latest service news and events.
Anyone can be a Community Connector, even if you are not an existing volunteer at a Neighbourhood House or Visitor Information Centre. Please contact us on (03) 5728 8079 for more information.
