About the project

The redevelopment of the Yackandandah Skate Park will transform the skate park into a community space for all, celebrating our young people, our stunning natural environment and our heritage.

The project is funded with a $100,000 grant from Sport and Recreation Victoria, with Indigo Shire Council contributing $163,015 to complete the project, at a total cost of $263,015.

The new skate park has been designed specifically for the site.

The current design has been modified slightly to suit site constraints and to work in with future Yackandandah Placemaking possibilities. The slight changes to the design have been shared with the skate park working group and the broader community.
