Applications are now open for Indigo Shire’s annual grants program, with $132,000 available across three streams – Community Grants, Tourism Event Grants, and Community Facility Energy Upgrade Grants.
Applications for Community and Tourism Events Grants close at 5pm on Friday 19 July 2019. Applications for the Community Facility Energy Upgrade Grant close at 5pm on Wednesday 28 August.
Please note, all grants are subject to the adoption of the 2019/20 Council Budget.
Total funding available: $50,000
Community grants support a range of general, arts and culture and youth projects. Of the $50,000 available, $47,500 is for general and arts and culture projects and $2500 is for youth initiatives. Successful grants will range from $200 to $4000.

Tourism Events Grants
Total funding available: $62,000
The Indigo Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Committee (IEDTAC) Tourism Events Grant aim to maximise economic outcomes for Indigo Shire through the attraction and support of new and innovative events. The program is for events being held between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020. This grant stream is pending adoption of the Council Budget.

Community Facility Energy Upgrade Grants
Total funding available: $20,000
The Community Facility Energy Upgrade Grant (CFEUG) provides funding to eligible not-for-profit community groups and organisations to support the implementation of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects at community facilities. This funding aims to help reduce the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions from community facilities. This in turn reduces the energy costs for community facilities and strengthens their long term financial sustainability.
