We are currently experiencing significant delays in processing applications, delivering planning decisions and investigating planning complaints from our community.

We are inviting interested groups or individuals to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a partnership to recover items at the transfer stations for reuse. We are seeking a not-for-profit partnership, with benefits returned to the community.
We currently operate two transfer stations, in Beechworth and Rutherglen. Further information on the Transfer Stations, including location, operating hours and items accepted can be viewed here: https://www.indigoshire.vic.gov.au/Living-in-Indigo/Bins-rubbish-and-recycling
Our Resource Recovery and Waste Management Strategy 2019 identified the need to explore reuse opportunities from the transfer stations. The transfer stations are not suitable to have an on-site reuse shop. However, there is potentially a large number of items being taken to the transfer stations that are suitable to be recovered for reuse, to either be sold or used in charitable organisations.
The Expressions of Interest Information Pack sets out a number of criteria against which submissions will be assessed.
Expressions of Interest close on November 27 and can be submitted here: https://www.eprocure.com.au/indigoshirecouncil/
