This position with the Indigo Shire Council is created using funding under the Working for Victoria (W4V) Project Fund established by the Victorian State Government. The Fund is designed to help Victorian workers who have been affected during the COVID19 Pandemic to find new opportunities in critical roles supporting the community. The position only exists if it is supported by this Fund.
We are looking for a Works Supervisor to provide effective management and supervision of staff, plant and equipment for Indigo Shire's Operation's Team to deliver routine maintenance, repairs and construction services for roads and associated infrastructure, parks and gardens, recreational reserves and open space including small civil projects.
Key responsibilities will be to oversee the day to day management of Working for Victoria construction projects and parks and garden works across the Shire's maintenance zones, ensuring the efficient and effective use of staff, plant and contractors.
