Business Support Program Officer (Working for Victoria)

This position with the Indigo Shire Council is created using funding under the Working for Victoria (W4V) Project Fund established by the Victorian State Government. The Fund is designed to help Victorian workers who have been affected during the COVID19 Pandemic to find new opportunities in critical roles supporting the community. The position only exists if it is supported by this Fund. 

We are currently seeking two motivated and enthusiastic Business Support Program Officers to join our Community & Economic Development Team. The role will take an active role in providing  support to the Economic Development and Investment Coordinator in providing direct-to-business support initiatives as part of the Business Support Program. 

Key responsibilities include engaging with business owners and operators; Collecting industry intelligence to support the diagnosis of issues and opportunities and supplying operators with up to date initiatives regarding the Covid19 pandemic.
