What is the Portsea Camp?

The Portsea Camp has been operating for over 70 years with a mission to run camps for rurally isolated, disadvantaged and special needs children who ‘need a break’ with a wide range of recreational activities. They run 4-night camps in the school holidays for 8-12 year old children, and one camp for 13-16 year old teenagers in September.

You can find out more details about the camp and their facilities here.

The 2023 January camp dates are yet to be confirmed, however Council will partner with the City of Wodonga to offer transport to and from one of the camps. More details will be provided closer to the date. If you have any questions in the interim please contact the Creative Communities Coordinator on 1300 365 003.

If you would like to contact the camp directly please call 03 5984 2333.
