Tell us about the types of work you do: Help the visitors that come into the centre and sell the items that are in the gift shop and answer the phone.

Tell us about how important volunteers are to your work: It’s important to help people who come to our region get to where they need to. The Rutherglen Visitor Information Centre relies on our volunteers to help paid staff.

What types of tasks do you need more volunteers for? There are two different four hour shifts in which volunteers will serve customers, so an easy going and helpful personality helps, as well as answering the phone and using the computer.
