Victorian Seniors Festival
The Victoria Seniors Festival is held annually in October, beginning with International Day of Older People on October 1st.
In 2020 we saw the festival presented in an online and radio format only, due to coronavirus restrictions. Despite the ongoing challenges we have made some COVID-proof plans for 2021.
Thank you to all the people who nominated someone special in their life to receive a celebration hamper.
We had a fantastic response and the hampers are now all snapped up and will be delivered during October, which is Seniors Month.
Indigo FM have joined the Seniors Festival Radio Reimagined Series again for 2021. It goes to air during September on Tuesdays from 2pm - 5pm in Beechworth and Yackandandah as well as on the Internet Radio Station which is accessible via the media player
In Tangambalanga it goes to air twice weekly for Kiewa-Tangambalanga community at times and days that are advised via the Indigo FM Kiewa-Tangambalanga Facebook
