Circuit Breaker Business Support Package

Announced by the Victorian Government, this $250 million support package aims to assist small to medium businesses and sole traders that have been affected by the circuit breaker restrictions imposed on 27 May 2021.

The below funds opened on 3 June 2021 and are being administered by Business Victoria

Business Costs Assistance Program - Round Two

Grants of $2,500 or $5,000 for eligible businesses that cannot operate under circuit breaker restrictions.

Applications are open now and close on 11:59pm on Thursday 24 June 2021.

Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021

Grants of $3,500 (per premises) for eligible businesses who hold a liquor license and food certificate.
Applications are open now and close on 11:59pm on Thursday 24 June 2021.

Victorian Events Support Package

Support package for operators within the event industry who have incurred losses due to the circuit-breaker restrictions.

Regional Tourism Support Package

The Victorian Government has announced this support package to assist tourism businesses including accommodation, attractions and experiences during ongoing coronavirus restrictions as a result of the Circuit Breaker lockdown. 

Business Costs Assistance Program Round Two Tourism Supplement

Eligible businesses who have received the Business Costs Assistance Round Two will receive a supplement to make the full grant amount $7,000. Eligible businesses need not apply for the new support, with a top-up payment automatically made to those with relevant ANZSIC codes.

Regional Travel Voucher Scheme

A further 80,000 regional travel vouchers valued at $200 each will be made available to Victorian's to travel across the state’s regions, when it is safe to do so.

Information on how Victorians can apply for and use the vouchers will be available on shortly on the Business Victoria website.

Jobs Victoria Fund 

Providing $250 million in wage subsidies, this fund aims to assist Victorian businesses to employ at least 10,000 people who are looking for work.   
If you are a Victorian employer ready to take on new staff, the Jobs Victoria Fund can financially support you to employ people who have been most affected by the economic impacts of the pandemic.

Seasonal Harvest Sign-on Bonus

Job seekers who take up a seasonal harvest job on a Victorian farm on or after Wednesday 17 February 2021 can apply for a Seasonal Harvest Sign-on Bonus. The $2,430 bonus is paid in two instalments:

  • Bonus 1: $810, after 10 days’ work within a 30-day period
  • Bonus 2: $1,620, after an additional 30 days’ work within a 90-day period.

You can only receive each payment once.
