Personal and professional growth never ends, and this program has been engineered to be valuable to all, regardless of your business type, experience and expertise.

You can access the recorded sessions below to complete each or all sessions at your own pace. All course tools and templates are included and follow up support can be accessed through our Business Support Program.

This resource is part of Council's Business Support Program. We are meeting with every business in the Shire, to understand your unique business strengths and needs; to build an ongoing relationship and to play a support role in growing your business. Understanding your business needs will inform our policy development, programming, support systems, networking, advocacy and strategic economic directions through IndiGrow.

Session 1 - Boosting your profitability and cash flow

Having strong cash flow in your business is possibly the biggest 'sleep-well-at-night' factor you can have as a business owner. Some core fundamentals are critical to making it happen.
In this session, you will learn;

  • The three critical drivers to your cash flow and how to optimise them
  • How to use a cash flow forecast; otherwise, known as 'the sleep at night tool'
  • Why you can be profitable but feel broke—and what to do about it
  • How to design your Profit Model by making sure you are building the 'right' kind of business
