The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a dangerous virus that is present in Australia. The World Health Organisation and Australian Government has classified this as a pandemic and we must take it seriously by following social distancing measures and the advice of our medical experts.

But what began as a health crisis has quickly become an economic crisis. As restrictions are placed on our lives to protect us, our economy will take a significant hit. Businesses and jobs are at risk.

All levels of Government are working together to deliver stimulus and relief financial packages for businesses and workers and we are committed to supporting businesses and workers in Indigo Shire as we face this challenge together.  We will continue to update these links as Governments announce relief measures.

Small Business Bushfire Support Grant - A combined State and Federal funding source available to businesses that had a downturn in business due to the 2020 bushfires. As of 8 July 2020, this grant will also support businesses who had a downturn due to COVID-19 restrictions. We are imploring all businesses who had any level of downturn to apply for this $10,000 grant.
