Council elects new Mayor and Deputy Mayor Published on 22 November 2022 In a unanimous 7-0 vote, Cr Sophie Price has been elected Mayor of Indigo Shire Council with outgoing Mayor, Cr Bernard Gaffney to be her deputy. Councillor Gaffney nominated Cr Price for the Mayoral role, which was not challenged and outgoing deputy Cr Peter Croucher nominated Cr Gaffney to take his place for a term of 12 months.
