Budget 2022-2023

To help inform the 2022-2023 budget, in late 2021 and early 2022, we asked the community a series of questions relating to what, where and how it would like Council to prioritise spending over the next 12 months.

We received an extensive amount of feedback, which was used to develop the draft document.

Following a period of public exhibition in which the community could provide further input, the 2022-2023 budget was adopted by Council on Tuesday 28 June 2022.

Totalling $37.2M, it includes $16.7M in Capital Works as well as:
  • $2.5M for maintaining roads, bridges and footpaths
  • $500K for improvements to urban and rural drains (an increase of $200K)
  • $1M for parks and gardens
  • $3.1M for waste management
  • $656K to deliver library services
  • $553K supporting early years programs and services
  • $221K to support our young people
