Indigo Planning Scheme Amendment C24 – Planning Scheme Review
This adopted document can be downloaded using the link below and includes detailed background information; a review and identification of relevant key land use planning issues, objectives and strategies for the Shire; preferred future development patterns and an Implementation Plan. The Implementation Plan provides a list of future actions to be undertaken to implement the policy direction contained in the review document. These actions include studies, investigation and proposed changes to the Indigo Planning Scheme.
Council is attempting to make the proposed changes to the Indigo Planning Scheme through a Planning Scheme Amendment process. Planning Scheme Amendment C24 has been prepared, publicly exhibited and has been referred to an independent panel for consideration. The final report of the Panel has been released. Copies of the Panel Report are available at Council’s offices and citizen service centres at Beechworth, Yackandandah, Chiltern and Rutherglen during office hours for any person to inspect free of charge. The Panel Report can also be downloaded using the link below. The Panel Report recommends that Amendment C24 be adopted with a number of changes.
