Parks & Gardens

The Shire has a variety of scenic parks and gardens that are maintained by both the Council and its residents.

Isaac Park, Yackandandah

Isaac Park has been maintained over the years by numerous volunteers and as a result has become a great reserve.

Town teams

The Council employs numerous gardeners to maintain public gardens and parks in the Indigo Shire.

Lake Sambell, Beechworth

The need to manage Lake Sambell Reserve saw the forming of the Lake Sambell Committee of Management. The committee receives funding that is spent on maintenance of the reserve and its surroundings as well as future projects.
