Indigo Shire Council Environment and Development Services Manager Ms Susan Cheetham encouraged residents in the area to attend the meeting to assist in constructive discussion.

She said this was a great opportunity for residents to have their input on the plan and have an opportunity to ask questions of the planning department.

“The revised Structure Plan for Kiewa/Tangambalanga is in its final draft stage, and Indigo Shire Council would like to invite comments from residents and interested parties,” she said.

“Copies of the final draft are available for viewing and loan from the Kiewa and Tangambalanga stores, as well as the Indigo Shire offices.

“The revised Structure Plan aims to assess development constraints and opportunities in Kiewa and Tangambalanga, and provide a co-ordinated approach to future residential development in the area.”

Written comments on the structure plan report should be addressed to Manager Environment and Development Services Susan Cheetham, PO Box 75 Yackandandah Vic 3749.

Council will also do a letter drop to residences in the area as well as advertisements in paper and notices in Kiewa and Tangambalanga stores.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday February 08 at 7.30pm at Coulston Park Boys Club Hall.
