The Beechworth Burke Memorial Museum is hosting a travelling exhibition from the Australian War memorial in Canberra called, All Together: Sport and War, from July 10th until October 30, 2006.

The exhibition tells some of the remarkable personal stories of famous sporting personalities whose lives and careers were affected by war and in some cases, tragically ended. These include Keith Miller, ‘Bluey’ Truscott, Les Darcy, Bert Oldfield, Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop, Cecil Healy, Thelma Long and Betty Archdale.
