Volunteering for the Environment
Many individuals and groups have undertaken environmental works throughout Indigo Shire’s, particularly in town reserves. Activities include removing weeding, planting, building small structure, track maintenance and much more! A number of individuals and groups have even ‘adopted’ particular sites that they regularly maintain and improve for the benefit of the whole community.
Indigo Shire would like to thank all those who have contributed, and continue to contribute, their time and effort towards environmental works within the Shire.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer in a park or reserve near you please contact the Natural Resource Management Officer on (02) 6028 1100 for further information.
