Greencorps

 Indigo Shire Council has hosted many Green Corps teams over the past few years, with the most recent projects being:

• "Restoration of Chilterns Urban Reserves" November 07-April 08
• “Restoration of Yackandandah’s Parkland and Nature Reserves” – November 2006 to May 2007
• "Lake Sambell’s Interpretative Trail & Community Engagement Program” – April 2006 to October 2006
•  “Rutherglen Roadsides and Environmental Community Support”­ – March 2005 to August 2005
• "Restoration Of Chiltern's Urban Reserves" October 2007- March 2008.

Green Corps aims to provide high quality, genuine environmental outcomes, which aid in the conservation, protection and restoration of Australia’s natural environment and cultural heritage, provide youth development opportunities for young Australians, including improved employment and educational outcomes, promote connections between young Australians and their communities.
