Indigo Shire Council is keenly aware of the vital importance and value of volunteers to the success of many of Council’s programs.

 Volunteers are involved in a number of Council based activities including:

·        Meals on Wheels delivery

·        Community Meals

·        Community Transport

·        Walking School Bus

·        Tourism

·        Youth Services

All volunteers must be registered with Council and are required to undergo relevant checks (National Police Records Checks, Working With Children Checks).

New volunteers are very welcome.  Training and support is provided to volunteers.
