Libraries

The Upper Murray Regional Library (UMRL) is the regional library service for North East Victoria. Indigo Shire Council has branches at Beechworth, Chiltern and Rutherglen. There is also a mobile library service available to outlying communities. UMRL services include free membership to local residents, online catalogue, home library services, pre school storytime and children’s holiday activities.
