The Streets & Roads Local Law No.1 does not specifically refer to the need to balance public safety and other aspects of street use.
The Indigo Shire Council is paving the way for a better Shopping and Tourism experience in our
Historic Streetscapes. Our Shire has many fine shopping areas and historical tourism experiences,
and is well known for its quality shops and vibrant and culturally significant areas. It is something
the Shire and community is very proud of and keen to build upon.
That’s why the adoption of guidelines governing safer streets is so important to
everyone: shoppers, traders and tourists.
The attached Trading Places document defines the different regulations in the various towns of Indigo Shire.
