Any car that is unregistered and is parked or left on the road is considered an abandoned vehicle.  These cars will also often be in a state of disrepair and may even have had their number plates removed.

Council, in conjunction with our Local Laws team, has a procedure for dealing with these vehicles that will ultimately result in the vehicle being towed away and impounded.
