At a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday 24 June 2008 Council prepared a budget for the 2008/2009 financial year.

A copy of the budget can be viewed by following the links below.  Copies are also available for inspection at Council's Service Centres at Beechworth, Chiltern, Rutherglen and Yackandandah.

Any person may make a written submission pursuant to ection 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 on any proposal contained in the Budget.  Submissions must be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Indigo Shire Council, PO Box 28, Beechworth, 3747 and must be received by close of business, Monday 14 July 2008.

Any person requesting to be heard in support of their submission must clearly specify this in their submission.  Submissions will be heard at "The Shed" the meeting room at rear of Council's Office in High Street, Yackandandah commencing at 5.00 pm Tuesday 15 July 2008.
