Where can I pay my rates?
There are a number of different ways you can pay your rates.
Council's Customer Service Centres accept payments of all bills by cash payment or via Australia Post, BPAY, EFTPOS, Credit Cards and BPOINT.
Call our Customer Service Staff who will be happy to assist you with any enquiries relating to payment of rates and charges.
There are several ways you can pay your rates for Indigo Shire Council.
BPOINT: Go to the Home Page and click on the BPOINT icon to make your payment.
Australia Post: Please present your rates notice intact at any Australia Post Office. Payments may be made by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. Please make cheques payable to Indigo Shire Council.
BPAY: Contact your participating bank, credit union or building society to make a payment directly from your cheque, savings or credit account. You will be required to enter the Biller Code and BPAY reference number as detailed on the front of your rates notice.
Internet: To process a payment over the internet, using your MasterCard or Visa, click here. You will be required to enter the BPAY reference number as detailed on the front of your notice.
Direct Debit: If you wish to make payments by direct debit please contact the Rates Department on 1300 365 003 or 03 5728 8000.
Phone: Call Indigo Shire Council to pay with MasterCard or Visa.
Visit: Come to one of our Customer Service Centres in Beechworth, Yackandandah, Chiltern or Rutherglen and pay over the counter.
