Indigo Shire Council prepares a range of Public Notices to keep the community informed about events and projects at Council and around the community. These include:
- Council meetings and some Committee meetings
- Making or changing a local law
- Adopting the Annual Budget
- Declaring a general or special rate
- Adopting a Council Plan
- Voters' roll and election matters
- Sale or lease of land
- Some road works, traffic management and drainage proposals

Current Public Notices
At its meeting of 24 March 2015 Council declared its intention to permanently close Star Lane, Beechworth, to vehicle traffic. Council is now seeking public comment on the proposal.
At its meeting of 24 March 2015, Council endorsed the Indigo Independent Heritage Review Report. The document (7MB pdf, 111 A4 pages) is available for public comment until 5 May 2015.
Council today launched a one-month process of seeking further community feedback on the Draft Lake Sambell Master Plan.
Indigo Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified public commercial swimming pool operators for the management and operation of the Council's swimming pools.
