Community Forums
Council is committed to engaging with residents wherever practical. We want to encourage local knowledge and input, build community ownership in Council projects, involve the community in our plans for improvement and share successes.
One way of doing this is via Community Forums, which are held after each monthly Council Meeting. A number of items are listed for discussion, relevant to the town or area where the forum is being held, and there is a section for the community to have their say. Notes of these forums are sent out to all people who supply their details on the attendance sheet.
The next Community Forum will be held at the Stanley Hall on Tuesday 14 February 2012 from 6.30pm.
