You are welcome and encouraged to attend any of the Council Meetings. You are able to ask questions during the “Open Forum” of Council, please click on the link below to learn how you can participate in the Council Meetings. All meetings are open to the public; however they may be closed to the public during confidential business discussions.
On rare occasions, Special Council Meetings will be called to discuss and decide upon specific matters, for example; the Budget, the Annual Report and the Council Plan.
After each Council Meeting a Community Forum is held, accompanied by a light supper. This provides an opportunity for community members to informally liaise with Shire Staff and the Mayor and Councillors.
