Frequently asked questions

If I use my voucher at a transfer station – can I still go to the hardwaste disposal days? - Sat 20, Sun 21, Sat 27 & Sun 28 February 2016

No-  voucher are “one of use” – residents wishing to dispose of more than 1m3 of waste will be charged as per normal disposal fees @ the Beechworth and Rutherglen Transfer Stations

I have recently purchased a property and did not get a hardwaste disposal voucher

Contact the waste department and a “special” voucher will be issued to the property

What if I have more than 1m3 of waste to dispose of?

Staff will assess the load and residents may be charged additional disposal fees at the Rutherglen and Beechworth transfer stations
