Asset Management Policy and Strategy
In December 2010, Council adopted Indigo Shire's Asset Management Policy, and Asset Management Strategy.
The Asset Management Policy sets out Council's commitment to manage and care for its assets in a sustainable way, to assist in the achievement of its vision, and to meet the service and infrastructure needs of the community.
The broad objective of the Asset Management Strategy is to set up a process that will facilitate the sustainable management of the Shire's infrastructure assets. These assets include buildings, bridges, roads, pathways, and drainage infrastructure.
