Funding available in 2018-2019


A total of $47,500 is available for 'General' and 'Arts and Culture' projects in 2018-2019. In addition, $2,500 is available for 'Youth Initiatives'. Successful grants will range from $200 to $4,000. (Subject to the approval of the 2018/19 budget).

Attending a Community Grant Workshops


Council staff will holding some drop in sessions to explain the application process, discuss your project and answer any questions groups might have. Applicants are encouraged to attend a grant session.

  • Beechworth - Supper Room (Memorial Hall) - Tuesday 12 June from 4:30pm to 6pm
  • Chiltern - Senior Citizens Club Rooms - Wednesday 13 June from 3pm to 4:30pm
  • Rutherglen - Senior Citizens Club Rooms - Wednesday 13 June from 5:30pm to 7pm
  • Kiewa/Tangambalanga - Lions Den - Thursday 14 June from 3pm to 4:30pm 
  • Yackandandah - Library - Thursday 14 June from 5:30pm to 7pm
